Joining the Wentworth Watershed Association

Does the Lake Wentworth/Crescent Lake watershed have special meaning to you and your family?

Would you like to help strengthen our community and protect this jewel among New Hampshire’s natural splendors?

There’s no better way than by joining the Wentworth Watershed Association (WWA). This new organization is the result of the 2016 joining of the Lake Wentworth Foundation and the Lake Wentworth Foundation.

Our roots go back more than 80 years to a distinguished group of local residents and lakeside visitors, including U.S. Supreme Court Justice William O. Douglas.Today the WWA continues to lead and represent the community in protecting the lakes and streams that make up the watershed.

With both financial and volunteer resources, the association has collected water quality data, monitored zoning and commercial activities, and helped educate visitors and property owners alike toward a sustainable a conservation ethic and robust community organization.

The Wentworth Watershed Association allows you to make tax-deductible contributions to the Annual Operating Fund, benefiting our work to protect the Lake Wentworth/Crescent Lake watershed.  Being a member allows you to participate in events, volunteer for activities, and know about everything that’s going on!
