Ice Out has officially been declared! The ice melt and cracking are enough that it is possible to launch a boat from all shores as of 10:15 AM, April 7th. There are still a few icy spots along some shores, but the lake is now navigable by boat.
Congratulations to Tim R. who is taking home a new WWA hat and the win for the 2025 Ice Out Contest, with a prediction of 1:00 PM on 4/7.
