Wentworth Watershed Association has recently held a virtual training on cyanobacteria blooms. This educational presentation, given by Executive Director Julie Brown, was recorded as a resource for anyone who missed the live training events or would like to refer back to the content. The presentation explains the basics of cyanobacteria and offers guidance on safely identifying and reporting suspected blooms, followed by a Q&A segment. Watch the full recording below:

- Sign up for waterbody-specific cyanobacteria updates
- Check the NHDES Healthy Swimming Mapper for current cyanobacteria alerts – Even if there are no active watches or warnings, triangle symbols will show where bloom activity has been reported. Clicking on a triangle will show the conditions of the initial report and the cell count results from NHDES testing.
