A New View

The Wentworth Watershed Association has been trying to make our website allow for more information to get out to our membership and other people when visiting the website. This desire has led us to a new format that has more flexibility than the old one. We hope that it works for you.

The idea is that we want to allow people to see what is going on at the lake and in the watershed.  We hope to provide an easier way to see what the Association is planning both as events and with regard to protecting the lake. The Landscape Workshop is an example of a way that we are trying to educate landscapers who have an impact on our lake and watershed. The “Best Practices” are not always known to everyone and learning them can make a landscaper’s job easier and protect the watershed as well. We hope that the way things are posted will make it easier to find information on things like the Fishing Derby, sailboat races, etc. so that everyone can see what events they can participate in. These notices have been on the website in the past but some people have found them hard to find. Now, six articles are on the front page and by clicking on the “NEWS” at the top of the page, more articles can be seen.

We would like to hear from you if these changes make the website better and you can do that in the “comment” section below. We want to hear from you about what you want to hear about and how you want it presented. It should be added that if you have an article that you would like to add, please feel free to contact the website administrator and they can forward your ideas to the website group to accomplish this.
