On August 24th, the Annual Camp Dinner was held at Camp Bernadette. Great fun was had by all – oh, and there was good food, too. As usual, there were good things to eat before dinner and then the dinner was sumptuous. And the weather was PERFECT.
Before dinner, there was time to look over Wentworth Watershed merchandise by the lake.
The hors d’oeuvres were plentiful and delicious. It was also a time to talk with old friends and meet new people who also enjoy the lake.
Some people seemed to want to have their picture taken and some guy was more than obliging…..
After dinner, the annual raffle provided wonderful prizes for many people. There was a table full of choices if you were the first number drawn but even the last prize was worth it.
Then, perhaps the most important part was the ice cream sundaes. Of course, before the guests could dig in, servers had to dig in to get the ice cream….
And then you got to put on a topping or two and then have whipped cream or hot fudge added.
If you missed the dinner this year, start planning on it for next year. It will be near the end of August and the weather will be sunny and warm as always.
