As part of the ongoing update to the Lake Wentworth and Crescent Lake Watershed Management Plan, volunteer drone operators—working under the guidance of the project’s environmental consultant—will be conducting a shoreline survey in the coming weeks. The drones will capture images around both lakes to document land use and identify potential erosion concerns.
This effort is intended to support lake health by informing the watershed plan and prioritizing resources for landowners interested in voluntary improvements that protect water quality.
Please note: this survey is strictly non-regulatory. We deeply value and respect landowner privacy, and all images will be used solely for planning purposes and kept internal to the Wentworth Watershed Association.
