Location: The Great Hall at Wolfeboro Town Hall. For those unable to attend in person, the event will be broadcast by Wolfeboro Community Television (WCTV) on Breezeline cable channel 985 and live-streamed on Breezeline channel 9003 as well as WCTV’s YouTube channel: https://youtube.com/live/ej7R_EmnnSE?feature=share The recording will be available for future viewing on the WCTV YouTube channel.
Registration for this free event is helpful (but not necessary) so we can plan accordingly.
It’s time for the Water Summit! Whether you live on the lakes or inland, own a business nearby or are just visiting, recreate on local waters, or simply enjoy their scenic beauty, we all have a connection to a watershed.
Please join us on Saturday, June 20 from 9:00 AM–12:00 PM at the Great Hall at Wolfeboro Town Hall for Water Summit 8: Protecting Our Waters Together. Sign-in and coffee social begin at 8:30 am. We hope to see you there!
Featured Presentations
Laura Diemer of FB Environmental will discuss the newly updated Wentworth–Crescent Lake Watershed Management Plan and how watershed management plans guide the work of organizations protecting local water resources. She will also share important action items residents, businesses, and the Town can take to help protect water quality in Wolfeboro.
Jason Ayotte from the New Hampshire Department of Transportation will present on the proposed South Main Street (Route 28) project, including its implications for stormwater management and water quality protection.
