Wow, it was quite an event. Some wondered if anyone would show up but about 70 boats did. They made a loop from Camp Bernadette around Cate Island, Triggs Island and a return to the starting point. Many small boats were watching the fun and there were smiles all around.
Patriotism is alive and well at Lake Wentworth. George Washington “crossing the Wentworth” is especially poignant today !
