On the balmy evening of August 28, approximately 130 WWA members and guests gathered for the annual Camp Dinner, once again graciously hosted by Camp Bernadette on the south shore of Lake Wentworth.
Guests enjoyed appetizers outdoors, followed by a delicious dinner featuring Mill Street Meat Market steak tips, chicken, coleslaw, potato salad, rolls, and butter. Design-your-own ice cream sundaes provided a sweet finish, and the evening concluded with a lively raffle featuring generously donated items.
WWA board members and volunteers served the meal and contributed many hours of planning and preparation to make the evening possible. We bookended a wonderful summer by kicking it off overlooking the lake at the Lake View Inn and closing it out on the waterfront at Camp Bernadette. These two special gatherings framed a busy summer filled with watershed projects, educational programs, and community events.
Thank you to Camp Bernadette and to all the volunteers, staff, donors, and guests who made the evening such a success. This wonderful annual tradition would not be possible without you!
