On the balmy evening of August 28th, about 130 Association members and guests enjoyed the annual Camp Dinner, once again hosted by Camp Bernadette on the south shore of Lake Wentworth. Everyone enjoyed appetizers outside followed by a dinner of Mill Street Meat Market steak tips, chicken, coleslaw, potato salad, rolls and butter, followed by design-your-own ice cream sundaes. The evening was brought to a close with a fun raffle of donated goods.
The food was graciously served by WWA board members and volunteers, who also spent many hours of planning and preparation to make this event come to fruition. We are very fortunate to have such a lovely way to cap a full summer of watershed projects, programs and events. Thank you to all volunteers, staff and patrons–this event would not exist without you!
